Antique Rare Occupational Tintype Set Circus Performer Trapeze Artist & Clown
For your consideration is this set of 4 late 1800s occupational tintypes. Featuring two different circus performers/artists. One of them is a clown and the other one possibly a trapeze artist or a juggler. A total of 4 different tintypes. One of them being a whole plate (6.5 by 8.5 inches) and featuring the trapeze artist; 2 sixth plates (2.75 by 3.25) one featuring the clown and the other one the trapeze artist; and lastly a sixteenth plate featuring the two of them together. Good general condition with regular age wear and some scuffing to plates. They have a little bit of creasing but the images are perfectly visible. The sixth plate with the clown alone shows a bit of rust towards upper right corner.
