Original circa 1870’s-1880’s tintype of a man with numerous wood carving tools. He stands next to a table which holds an elaborate wood carving that he has been working on. The carving appears to be either a component of a circus wagon or an architectural element for a building. Measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 5/16 inches. There are assorted smooth bends as usually found on most tintypes. There is a tiny bit of wear at the bottom border. This interesting photo came from an old Pennsylvania collection of tintypes which was formed over several decades. This item is inventory #9933. Is an estimate and the actual cost may differ.
