Vtg 1920’s Carnival Prizes Souvenirs Chalkware Statue Figurine Doll Antique Toys! Buddy of mine had these, thought they were a great piece of history…… Said his grandfather had them in his workshop forever! Was a crack at the base of girls legs, I put some gorilla glue around crack to keep it from spreading (had to look real close to see it) guessing they were a couple most of these were hand cast & hand painted!
This CDV features a rare image of Master Eli Bowen, a famous circus performer in the late 19th century. The image is a black and white matte finish and measures 3 x 4 inches. The CDV is an original one-of-a-kind piece and is part of the Pullman Brothers Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. The photograph was taken in 1870 and is a prime example of a Freak Show Star. It is a first edition and features Eli Bowen and his wife Mattie Bowen in a portrait orientation. The CDV is made of cardboard and paper and is unframed. This vintage photograph is an excellent addition to any collection of circus memorabilia or antique photographs.
This is a gorgeous original circus headpiece made by the famed costume creator Brooks Van -Horn. It is 22 high from the base of the cap. It is in very good condition.
