RARE CIRCUS CDV – “EGYPTIAN PRINCESS” CIRCASSIAN WOMAN ON SWING – BY EISENMANN – You are considering one of the rare African women who took on the role of a Circassian Beauty during a time when this act was primarily dominated by white and an albino performers. Billed as the “Egyptian Princess” her portraits are quite rare to find. In this wonderful CDV Charles Eisenmann captured her in a playfully posed on a swing in his studio. Eisenman’s stamp can be seen below the photo and on the reverse of the mount. A great addition for your American Circus photo collection. CONDITION: Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description. The CDV is in very good condition. The print remains bold and has some minor foxing. The mount is in excellent antique condition with Eisenmann’s stamp on the front side and rear. A truly rare circus CDV for your collection.
