VERY RARE CIRCUS SIDESHOW CABINET PHOTO – BARNUM’S “UNZIE” THE CIRCASSIAN ALBINO MAN – “Unzie” the Aboriginal Albino man was brought by P. Barnum to the United States and would become one of his long running sideshow attractions. Most likely one of the most famous of P. Barnum’s performers with Albinism in circus history. Unzie was a major sideshow attraction, but cabinet cards of him are rather rare to find today. The image is in superb antique condition and taken by the York Photo Gallery. CONDITION: Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description. The print remains in excellent condition with only a few minor spots. The mount is also in very good condition with only one tiny bump to the bottom right corner. The photographer’s stamp appears on the front and the backside has no marks. A rare and top quality image for your 19th Century Circus collection.
