RARE CIRCUS CDV – “EGYPTIAN PRINCESS” CIRCASSIAN WOMAN ON SWING – BY EISENMANN – You are considering one of the rare African women who took on the role of a Circassian Beauty during a time when this act was primarily dominated by white and an albino performers. Billed as the “Egyptian Princess” her portraits are quite rare to find. In this wonderful CDV Charles Eisenmann captured her in a playfully posed on a swing in his studio. Eisenman’s stamp can be seen below the photo and on the reverse of the mount. A great addition for your American Circus photo collection. Vintage Milton Bradley Clown Toss Game 4211. Very Rare – I could not find another like this. Vintage condition – has some wear and tear – soiling, missing color, tears – see photos – great graphics. There are three bars missing from the numbers. The board is weak above the clown’s head but is still together. The hinges are intact and it will still stand up. I do not have any of the pieces to this game. This game has wear – but is really great for the age. The instructions are printed on the back of the game. This CDV features a rare image of Master Eli Bowen, a famous circus performer in the late 19th century. The image is a black and white matte finish and measures 3 x 4 inches. In this spectacular portrait, you can see the tight wire rope coiled next to this pint size performer dressed as the Greek God. Period notations and the date can be seen on the back of the mount.
