This is an antique. Carousel Rounding Board Cherub light. This was manufactured by WF Mangels Company in Coney Island, N. In the 1960’s. I got this and others from the Mangels estate years ago and they are new old stock. It is in very good cosmetic and working condition and the 10. It weighs approximately 12.5 pounds and measures approximately 16″ in diameter (20″ with the bulbs in) and 4 thick including the Cherub. It also has brackets on the back for hanging.

Very cool tiger head salvaged from an old carousel ride in good condition for age and composition. Substantial size and heft, wonderful paint with a couple minor chips as shown and patina throughout. Could be antique but vintage at the least. Please use photos and zoom feature for most accurate condition. Measures about 12.5″ tall by about 12.5″ wide and about 10.5 deep from where it sits on the wall. Please get them approved before purchasing. Any questions must be answered before the sale. Welcome to House of Heritage. Description: Original and decorative fairground horse ride dating from circa 1950s. The horse came from a decommissioned ride and has some lovely folk artwork, metal handle and padded seat, it would make fantastic decor in the home, a real collectors items. Dimensions : The horse is 108 cm in height by 18 cm in width by 107 cm in length. Condition: In good condition considering age, some loss of paint, marks and surface scratches to the piece, one of the metal feet is missing, some staining to seat, slightly warped. The horse does lean towards one side.
Two original childrens’ carved wooden fairground horses made by the Heyn company in Germany for a juvenile carousel in late 19th century England. The pair of small’Dobby’ horses made circa 1880 -1890 by German company Heyn would have hung on brass poles on an English Halstead’Swing-Out’ ride. These two small horses surviving from a larger set are in good sturdy condition in their old slightly worn paintwork with various small imperfections from age and usage. In the late 19th century Heyn of Germany made some of thec earliest juvenile horses for showmen in Great Britain before Orton & Spooner in Burton-on-Trent and Anderson in Bristol had begun to carve them. These are two examples, which Heyn carved to be viewed running clockwise as was the custom in Britain as opposed to anti-clockwise as in Germany France and America. One measures 35 inches long x 29 high, (89 x 74 cms). The other 38 long x 25 high. (97 x 64 cms). PRICE SHOWN IS FOR A SINGLE HORSE.

Dimensions : The Donkey is 95 cm in height by 25 cm in width by 108 cm in length. Condition: In good condition considering age, some loss of paint, marks and surface scratches to the piece, the seat is very worn with loss and holes to the fabric, quite a lot of woodworm which has been treated. The ride does lean around 20 degrees towards one side.
