This is part of a unique set of photos from “Captain Jim Moore’s Famous Shows” Carnival & Sideshow Traveling Show based out of Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. This original image is one of 5 from different carnival shows they set up across the country. He ran sideshows along with carnival rides and games. This photo features a great sideshow banner for the OLD PLANTATION SHOW. It featured African American performers. The man in the middle with a beard is Capt Jim Moore, the owner of the traveling carnival show. These photos are from the estate of Nettye Cameron who traveled with the circus (possibly as a manger for Mr Moore). These photos come from her estate, down the line from her great great nephew. She worked closely with the side show cast as she had a lot of photos with them and some were signed (will be offered up at a later date). Please check my other auctions for more vintage photos. RARE ANTIQUE VTG 1910s 1920s mens swimsuit shorts trunks swimwear carnival circus. These are very early, early 1900’s. Would make a great movie prop for the hollywood studios. Maybe teens or 20s, WWI era. Have a circus carnival print and have a side zip and button on one side, still have liner in good condition. Small size more for a collector than for someone to wear probably, but these are extremely unique and unusual. They have a falcon zipper that works well and original button. See pictures for size and condition. No stains or damage to mention. Look and feel like an early sanforized material. Quite thin material but very strong high quality and durable feel. No case or attempt at preservation (and the tourist) suggests a traveling show like a 10 in 1 or Wild West Show. Displays strong with good contrast and Northwestern tones, addressed to Eugene Oregon. All Original Antique Vintage GIBBS TOY CIRCUS PONY WAGON NO. 53 Circa 1910’s. This is an original toy, not a reproduction. All moving parts are made of metal. The wood is covered with detailed early Chromo lithography. Made by The Gibbs Mfg. When the toy is pulled, the pony or horse’s legs move back and forth. It is made of lithograph paper on wood, with metal wheels. The circus wagon is being pulled by two ponies. It is called pony circus. The graphics are amazing on both sides of the wagon. Rare Original 1910s Sideshow Poster Miss Quincy circus carnival antique vintage

This is a 100+ year old carnival poster from the early 20th Century. Printed in France, and advertising Miss Quincy, a famous American high diver who toured all over the world in the 1910s and 1920s, and apparently died in the 1940s. This is a very rare example of early 20th Century sideshow advertising. The paper has age-related wear, with watermarks on the right-hand side, some paper loss at left, etc, but it is in good condition overall. The paper has darkened over time, but the colors are still nice. It is archivally mounted to a linen backing to provide structural support. Poster size is approximately 15 1/2″H x 23″W. Overall dimensions including the frame are approximately 19″H x 27″W. It is archivally framed with pH neutral materials, and UV filtering acrylic glazing in order to preserve it. The frame is made of poplar, with a distressed black finish. I have tried to show the overall condition as best as possible, so please look closely at my photos for details, and please let me know if you have any questions. Antique Leather Autotherm Picnic bag Drew & Sons Piccadilly Circus London 1910s. Oh wow this is so cool. Original bag made by Drew and sons of Piccadilly circus. Apparently this was kind of a picnic basket of its day. But this was no ordinary picnic basket. Very high-end in its Day. Made of all leather as cars were very expensive. Shows typical wear on the inside and out how much is a leather strap is now gone. Would be a fairly easy replacement if you so choose. These canisters were inside. The rectangular one I think is missing its front clasp, see my finger tip. The round one is quite nice with autotherm stamped on top in a neat locking mechanism. Front latch it works as it should. If you like old cars or classic leather goods this is the one. And also had a movie camera in it. If I still have it look under the word Pathe. Would be nice to keep them together. Nice to imagine a day out with camera and food in 1910. Bag is 13 by 9 x 7 in.
