The Lilliputians were a circus sideshow troop of little people performers. This CHEERY cotton 30’s circus quilt is hand appliqued, with hand embroidered accents. It measures 40″ X 58″ and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The 1/4″ binding edge is turned and stitched by machine, and there is a matching 12″ X 18 sham. This WONDERFUL APPLIQUE WORK and DYNAMIC DESIGN make this vintage beauty stand out!

This is an antique circus game, over 6 feet high on four legs, with wonderful old red paint. 25.5″ diameter circle 4″ thick sides. All wood and metal painted construction, with a perfect circle of 72 nailed hand-hammered into a circle to catch the small white ball. A great conversation piece for marketing or home use.

The back of the girl’s photo has no writing. It was hard to get a good scan… They are a bit overexposed. But all details are visible and are otherwise in very good. 6.5″ x 4.25″ each. It depicts a lion who has just killed a beautiful woman circus performer as her boyfriend looks on from outside the cage. The caption reads: Le Lion Jaloux which roughly translates to: The jealous lion. It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills most of it, with a French caption below and text surrounding it. The page is in excellent condition for its age. There is text/photos on the back of the print.
