This is a listing for Toulouse-Lautrec’The Circus’. I will preface this by stating that I know nothing about art, so PLEASE look closely at the photos, and ask questions. I know these are NOT prints, but I don’t really know what they are. The one thing I do know, is that they are pretty old. I acquired them at an estate sale, and there was quite a bit of vintage art there. The listing consists of a large’folder’ with the individual pictures inside. I’ll just call them’pictures’ because I don’t know if they are lithos, etc. The pictures are all the same size. The entire paper measures 14″ x 11″, while the’picture’ portion measures 11 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. The paper is thick and the edges surrounding the picture portions has yellowed. Perhaps in the photos, it appears as if each picture is framed, but that’s not the case. The painting/picture portion is raised just a little bit, and it feels’rough’ when you run your finger across the painted portions. On the front cover that reads’The Circus’, you can see and feel a little’rippling’ or bumps at the bottom. It looks and feels a little like embossing, but I don’t think that’s what it is. It’s only on the’picture’ portion, and not on the plain paper edge. I don’t know if that’s important or not. Again, these look pretty old, but I really don’t know when they were created. If anyone knows more about these, please let me know, and I will add to the description.
