RARE c1900 ANTIQUE No. 47 CIRCUS PLAYING CARDS by USPCC 52 + JOKER + BOX VGC

This rare antique No. 47 Circus Playing Cards deck was one of the earlier decks created by the USPCC c1900 and featured various popular circus characters from the period on the court cards, plus a special Ace of spades and Joker (only one issued with the deck), the pip cards had a frame type decorative edge, poker size cards came in a two-piece slip case (see front and rear scans) with gilt lettering. The cards are in excellent used antique condition and the tuck is also very good with some light wear to the outer case and a small collectors reference on one end face of the outer box, the inner case is excellent.
