RARE CIRCUS CDV – “EGYPTIAN PRINCESS” CIRCASSIAN WOMAN ON SWING – BY EISENMANN – You are considering one of the rare African women who took on the role of a Circassian Beauty during a time when this act was primarily dominated by white and an albino performers. Billed as the “Egyptian Princess” her portraits are quite rare to find. In this wonderful CDV Charles Eisenmann captured her in a playfully posed on a swing in his studio. Eisenman’s stamp can be seen below the photo and on the reverse of the mount. A great addition for your American Circus photo collection.
