This is a rare original circa 1880’s Cabinet Card Photograph of Granny Nelly Fraser relaxing in a chair. Fraser was in semi-retirement at the time this photo was taken. The photo was posed to look like she was at home rather than in a photo studio. But we have no idea of where it was taken. They were supposedly based on the East Coast. Unfortunately we do not know her professional circus name. The photo is quite unusual. It measures 4 ¼ x 6 ½ inches. The image is light, but clear. There are even some strong contours.
