Very Rare, Unusual Antique “DOG HEAD” Carnival or Circus Cane/Walking Stick, With Nicely Made Ceramic/Porcelain Folk Art Grip, Wooden Handle, c. Scans show it all….. Very nice, great looking antique DOG HEAD CARNIVAL OR CIRCUS cane with fancy white/black ceramic dog head “folk art” DESIGN GRIP on a blue wooden handle. I have seen similar ones with elephant or dice head ceramic handles, but this is the rarer dog head. These were given as prizes for winning various carnival or midway gambling/skill games at circuses, carnivals or fairs. Measures about 34 from one end to the other. In excellent condition overall. It will be a great decorator, or a great addition to an antique cane or walking stick collection. Or a great addition to a circus or carnival collection. COULD ALSO STILL BE USED AS WELL, AND PROVIDES A GREAT, STYLISH, DAPPER, ANTIQUE LOOK!! Would make a great, prized, unusual gift! From my personal collection. A very nice, very unusual cane, both the ceramic top and the dowel wood shaft. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!!

This is a RARE, ANTIQUE. AN EARLY, FIRST MODEL c1906, (when monkeys were first introduced)TWO PART FACE MONKEY, IN VERY GOOD ORIGINAL PLAYED WITH CONDITION and the Ladder is included in the price. He is one of the earliest pieces from the Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty Circus which was first made in the U S A in 1903. He has;- A two part face ; original ears ; original silk hat trimmed with gold braid ; original tail; original costume which the moths have chewed a bit! It would have to be listed and take a week or two. He is 8.5/ 21.5 cm tall to the top of his hat. His stringing is good and he poses well. NB He has had his left foot repaired at the front which has been taken into account for the price. However I will consider sensible offers. PLEASE EXAMINE THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY AS THEY DO FORM PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. ALSO THEY WILL ALWAYS REQUIRE A SIGNATURE.
