ORIGINAL EMILE FINOT’2 ROGERS COMEDIANS’ PARIS SHOW POSTER. This is really a wonderful original. This is one of two original Emile Finot Paris theater posters I acquired from a local estate. Finot worked in Paris before the war and created wonderful posters for the theater and shows and circus that was going on in Paris at the time. This is a wonderful original for a show of a couple important comedians who were touring Europe at the time. A wonderful image measuring 13 1/4 x 21 inches on complete original sheet measuring 16 x 24 inches. The image is in outstanding condition with great original color. Finot’s signature is in the lower left within the image. Along the bottom right side margin is Finot’s publishing information in Paris. The only issue is along the bottom corners of the print shows some chipping. Lower left is missing a small chip and lower right has been repaired archivally. It has been taped to an archvial matte along the top edge. A new frame would make this a great presentation. CHECK THE PICTURES ON THIS EXCELLENT PIECE!!
