On view is a Hubley antique mechanical acrobat circus cast iron bank. Patent dated 6- 17- 1882 Hubley on the bottom. The acrobat kicks the penny when the lever is moved and it flies into the open area under the other figure. It does have some surface wear to the paint. The bank weighs 6 lb and 5 oz. Please look closely at the item photos they are the best indication of condition. All offers considered, first reasonable offer accepted! Larger items may take longer.
Kurt Adler Performance Circus Set. 3 train pieces including front of train. And 3 acrobats circus girls. Excellent used condition- paint wear possible- not sure what they looked like new. All have gold hanging strings. A little wear to acrobat “wings”. No cracks or stains. Animals and girls are plastic, train is wooden. A really cute vintage set!

Original circa 1870’s-1880’s tintype photo showing a man wearing a loose costume with diamond shaped decorations all over his costume. Also, he wears a tight cloth hat. From his outfit we are guessing that he was in the circus. We are thinking that he was probably an acrobat in the circus or a jester or clown. But, we are not certain. Measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 3/8 inches. There are a few minor flaws as usually found on most tintypes. The back shows minor age. There is a thin raised line below the man’s feet on the background. This is in the surface of the emulsion & occurred in the making. Otherwise, the front is very smooth & in nicer condition than most tintypes that are found. At the lower right edge area there is a lighter area in the photo. In the scan this looks like a small area missing off of the surface. But, in reality this is as made, & is a piece of cloth showing in the background when the photo was taken. This interesting photo came from an old Pennsylvania collection of tintypes which was formed over several decades. This item is inventory #9940. Is an estimate and the actual cost may differ. International Buyers – Please Note.
