This CDV features a rare image of Master Eli Bowen, a famous circus performer in the late 19th century. The image is a black and white matte finish and measures 3 x 4 inches. The CDV is an original one-of-a-kind piece and is part of the Pullman Brothers Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. The photograph was taken in 1870 and is a prime example of a Freak Show Star. It is a first edition and features Eli Bowen and his wife Mattie Bowen in a portrait orientation. The CDV is made of cardboard and paper and is unframed. This vintage photograph is an excellent addition to any collection of circus memorabilia or antique photographs.
