Antique Schoenhut wooden toy goat, from Schoenhut’s Farm Set or Humpty Dumpty Circus. 8 inches in length, and approx. 7 inches tall at the top of its head, this painted eye billy goat is jointed at his legs, neck, and head, and stands very well on his own. His paint is original. His ears, tail, beard, and horns are made of leather. Condition is good, having light wear commensurate with age and use. There are a few tiny spots of paint loss, as shown in my photos. He is missing a piece of one leather ear, the other leather ear has some cracks in it, as shown.
