Antique Top Hat Brown Leather Box Silk Vintage Circus Georgian Victorian feather

Antique Circus Top Hat and Brown Leather Top Hat Box. The Hat Box has a brass plaque. There is also a brass lock with missing key. The leather box is lined in faded pink silk. The black silk top hat was made in Piccadilly London. It was in a trunk with lots of other circus costumes from the 1930’s. The ribbon and feather is later in date than the hat and box and was probably decorated for a show. I added the leather Chanel rose when I wore to a fancy dress party. The inner circumference around rim of hat is 54cm. The condition is very worn with fading and some small holes. I think this just adds to the decadent circus performer look. The silk of the hat and box lining has discolouration from age, please see photos which for part of the description. Please ask if you have any questions. Please view my other items.
