Circa 1928 synthetic marble circus elephant figural shelf or mantle clock by Lux. Measure 6 1/2″ by 71/2″. Condition is good and as found from estate. You can set the time and wind it. It will run and then stop right away. The fast and slow lever is not there. Paint loss mostly to the top as seen in photos. A chip on the corner at the base as seen in pictures. Heavy rare antique 1800’s solid lead figural circus elephant doorstop iron stop

Up for sale is a wonderful antique 19th century solid lead circus elephant door stop. It is made from extremely heavy lead and has acquired a wonderful patina from age. In nice condition and measures 5 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches by 3 inches back to front. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. ORIGINAL ANTIQUE – PIGGY BANK – CAST IRON JUMBO ELEPHANT CIRCUS BANK EXCELLENT ANTIQUE CONDITION – This wonderful child’s cast iron bank belonged to a man I grew up knowing and was kept all his life and given to me. Now it is my turn to pass this amazing elephant piggy bank onto another collector or child. There is a turn screw on one side, used to retrieve the coins when the bank needed to be cashed out. Here is an excellent original toy bank for your collection. The bank would look great in a child’s bedroom, displayed in a collection of other antique banks or in someones circus collection. Good luck to my lucky winner. CONDITION : Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description. As noted above, this was a personal toy bank of a friend of mine and was used throughout his childhood, therefore, it is NOT NEW IN BOX or a reproduction. We are proud to offer a genuine early 20. Century English circus elephant balancing stool. This item would have been used to train entertaining elephants to balance one leg on a platform before they would have progressed to balance completely on a much larger item for audiences entertainment. Crafted by hand using heavy sectioned wooden panels. This wooden stool is painted using a terracotta faded colour, with a sectioned circular top. Showing good age and a wonderful patinated, this circus prop would make a great display base or coffee table now, An unusual talking point as a unique piece of furniture. Size in inches approx. H 17 x W 21 x D 21. Condition: This item shows lots of age, wear and tear in the form of natural patina across the wooden sections, flacked hand painted surface (which has been over painted a few times over the years) and chips and scuffs across the surface as you may expect from item thats been used for many years.
