Vintage Marx Ring-A-Ling Circus Tin Windup Toy. This toy features an early ring master and animals on an orange base. Base measures 7.5 in diameter. The side of the base reads RING – A – LING CIRCUS, LOUIS MARX & CO. Has wear, dents, damage along the base, fading. I have no idea if anything is missing or how it came originally. Life Sized Wooden Circus Pig Carousel Statue Wood Piglet Polychrome Painted

This is a very cool life sized wooden Piggie! This little Piggie came from a very cool estate over in orlando, it was the owner of Ripleys Believe it or not, the home was decorated with very interesting pieces. This little Pig is made of wood, he is heavy and his paint is done in the manner of circus or festival / carnival style. He measures 38 3/4″ long by 22″ inches high to the top of his saddle by a width of approx 12 All dimensions are approx. What we did with the photos is give you a nice visual detail of his wear, condition, and paint. Some of the later photos are spliced together to show his underside, the spaces where his legs are, which is common in solid wood sculptures as they expand and contract throughout their lives with contraction also as the wood dries out more with age. Pictures 10, 11 & 12 detail his underside where you can see the gaps where his legs are attached, they do not have movement, meaning they are not loose. Hes a solid little piggie. Note there is some splits in the wood, and checking, also some losses from age and wear. What a great talking piece, and a rare find. The paint is awesome on him done in the circus style with some wear / rubs/ scuffs all add to his charm. If you need more photos or require any more info please feel free to ask. Incredible grecian key, leaf and heart pattern bold enough to anchor any wall or room. Measures 40 W x 25 H x 5 at the top rails deepest. Paint appears to be secondary with bits of original blue peeping through. Appreciate the attribution from a kind ebayer, this does appear to be Philadelphia Tobaggan Company. Stress cracks along bottom edge that from most angles do not show light through. Bulb sockets are present but not functional, would need entirely rewired. Please see photos and ask questions. Rare Antique Tn Nomura Tin Toy Litho Clown Circus Truck Carousel Friction Drive

Part of one of the hardest to find Nomura Toys sets. Art, Jewelry boxes, etc. And a Fine collection of Native American Jewelry. The NT toys or Nomura Toys Traveling Circus set is nearly impossible to find in any condition. (to be sure they actually have the item). This is the Carousel truck, and in rare good looking condition. It is 8 1/2 inches long, 4 1/2 high and 4 inches wide. Made of tin plated steel, with rubber tires, It is a well made toy that has lasted well over the years. I took lots of pictures to show all the flaws, I do not want to misrepresent this item. Mechanically the friction drive works, the right wheel works the drive, the left is slightly loose on the axle. (a couple taps on the axle to pein it down more would tighten it) This was a semi common issue even when new. When pushed the rear wheels are supposed to spill the carousel, and ring a bell, this does not work. When spinning the rear wheels you can see the carousel spin sometimes, but at most it does a half revolution. And it does not trigger the bell to ring. I do not know where the issue lies here, but I do not want to take it apart to find out. Please check out my other auctions I have a lot more Tin Litho toys, including another piece from this set.
