TINTYPE – 1/6 PLATE MR. SPARKLE PANTIES LIKELY CIRCUS EQUESTRIAN TRICK RIDER – As a long time collector of circus photography, I guarantee you are looking at an early circus performer and most likely an an equestrian trick rider. I have seen and own many other images of men of the circus wearing the sequence pants and I like to call this one, Mr. Judging from his more fitted jacket, ascot and high riding boots he has all the indicators of performing with horses or other animals as a trainer. As mentioned above, the image is in excellent condition and is contained a nice condition paper cartouche sleeve with an old set of pinholes present. Rare content makes this tintype highly desirable.
