Vintage Blackboard and Grasshair clown prints Cydney Grossman custom orig frames. These prints are on board and not paper. They are from the late 40’s. Custom framed at Victor Doyle’s Art store in San Diego. The coloring on these two prints are different than the 1950’s versions. They do not have the yellow in the color way. These prints are in the original custom frames. The colors are still vibrant! The frames do show wear and paint loss on the red paint. See photos for description, and condition. This is airbrush painted on heavy canvas of a circus / magician performer. It was done by the famed tattoo artist Sean Karn roughly 30 years ago… In the early 1990’s. It is signed and dated. It is roughly 9 feet long by 8 feet tall and weighs about 10 – 15 lbs. It would be a very unique piece for a museum or collector. Face sanded, carved, new make up applied with hight quality pastels and acrylics. Sealed with mate finish spray varnish. On the lips she got a touch of gloss for a more realistic look! 3 new eye chips. 1 set are hand painted in a creepy style, I left one pair of original eyes, as they are in a beautiful blue and I think they suit her. New eye lashes in brown colour matching her hair, sleepy eyes added with beaded pull rings. Her beautiful Victorian style dress was tea dyed, for an antique look, as also her stockings. Hand made clown hat and custom shoes. She will travel with complete outfit as in the pictures, including her red ballon! Please note, she is a custom doll, so not longer factory perfect.
