Overall the skirt is in pretty amazing shape. But, it does have problems. The original owner must have spilled something on it. It is a cream base wool, and the spill areas are more yellow, as you see in pictures, its on the front of the skirt. Regular dry cleaners would do nothing extra due to the felt appliqués. There may be a more skilled professional cleaner who could work magic. It seems like it should clean up more due to it being natural fiber. That said, it not what you notice. What you notice is the fabulous animals! The only flaw with them is the lion has 2 moth bites (see photo). Other than that its perfect. Zipper is slow and should be treated gently, it works its just a 50 year old metal zipper. Waist: 14 no give.
