Rare original antique cdv circus/sideshow photo of Walter Stuart. The cdv is in good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. It measures approximately 4 1/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches and dates to late 1800’s, probably sometime around the 1880’s. Please look at the scans to further note the condition.

1890 cabinet card showing a miniature sideshow or circus, titled, “Barnum Miniature Show” in period ink on the mount. Great detail, showing patrons standing in line for a freak museum, that is decorated with several great, readable sideshow banners.. Albino woman, strong man, and more. The mount has been trimmed or rounded down to 6″ x 4.5″, though the image itself is not affected. The image is in good or better antique condition with light surface wear…. Hannah was billed as weighing 714 pounds, but was probably in the 400’s to maybe 500’s somewhere. She was said to be over six foot tall. The name written on backside of the photo is incorrect and was probably added at a much later date. The photo is in very good vintage condition with only some normal expected age lightness. But it is an attractive image. A highly collectible historic photo. It measures approximately 2 ½ x 4 inches! The moniker is due to his completely twisted and miniature sizes legs. Mann was far more grotesque looking than the better known Eli Bowen. Most unusual is that his home address appears on the border. Out of thousands of Sideshow photos and pitch-cards, we have NEVER seen a performer’s home address publicized. This is a great find!
