Original Vintage Pinder Circus Poster Circa 1920s. This poster, for George and Herbert Pinder, probably dates to about 1900. George and Herbert Pinder were the grandsons of founders George and William Pinder, two Englishmen who founded their show about 1854 and took it to France, where this poster was produced, and where the show changed names to Cirque Pinder. George and Herbert were horseback jugglers and – as seen here – musical clowns. The circus has continued in the decades since under various ownership and formats. For many years it was the most successful circus in western Europe. SENT SAME DAY WHERE POSSIBLE. The item “Original Vintage Pinder Circus Poster Circa 1920s” is in sale since Monday, June 15, 2020.
