Great condition for age! Does have damage to one foot. Has normal wear and some chipping to paint. Great looking hand painted carnival folk art of a jester or joker wearing a court jester hat. Great colors – lots of age wear and patina. Several chips in the paint. There are repairs to the tassels on the hat. Looks like the middle tassel is missing the end piece. May have been used in a circus or carnival to store clown supplies. The head is attached by a dowel, and can be moved and detached easily. The right hand door is warped, making the cabinet difficult to close completely. Probably an easy fix. Fantastic display item, and a sure-fire conversation piece. The cabinet measures 45 inches tall, 10 inches wide, 9 inches deep. Weighs almost 10 pounds. Great addition to your fantasy folk art circus entertainment related memorabilia collection.
