ORIGINAL 1950’S STUFFED CARNIVAL PRIZE MEASURING APPROX: 51″ TALL X 24″ WIDE X 10 DEEP. HAS MANUFACTURES TAG STILL ATTACHED BUT HARD TO MAKE OUT SINCE THE WRITING IS SO SMALL. TAG SAYS MADE IN OHIO. SHOWS SOME WEAR/TARE WITH A FEW HOLES AROUND STITCHING FROM AGE. ALSO HAS SOME STAINS, AND WEAR/TARE TO MATERIAL, THE BOTTOM BUTTON ON THE FRONT LOOKS TO BE PARTLY TORN OFF, HAS COSMETIC WEAR WITH LINT, SOME WEAR TO THE FUZZY HAIR, ETC FROM MANY YEARS OF STORAGE. THIS IS A VERY RARE ANTIQUE FIRST MODEL, TWO PART HEAD WITH PAPIER MACH FACE CLOWN, FROM THE VERY START OF THE SCHOENHUT HUMPTY DUMPTY CIRCUS IN 1903. HE IS IN ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION. HE HAS THE EARLY TWO PART FACE WITHOUT EARS WHICH IS HOW THEY WERE FIRST MADE, EARS CAME LATER. HE ALSO HAS THE EARLY FEET THAT ARE ROUNDED AND UPTURNED AT THE ENDS. HE IS IN PLAYED WITH, BUT GOOD, SOUND CONDITION, BUT HE IS 120 YEARS OLD! DESPITE THIS HIS STRINGING IS GOOD AND HE POSES WELL. HE IS 9/ 22.5 cm TO THE TOP OF HIS HAT. HIS COSTUME IS GRUBBY AND WORN IN PLACES AS YOU WOULD EXPECT AFTER 120 YEARS. HIS LADDER IS VERY OLD BUT THERE IS NO WAY OF TELLING HOW OLD, ie 1903 or a bit later, BUT IT IS NOT A MODERN ONE. PLEASE EXAMINE THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY AS THEY DO FORM PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. ALSO THEY WILL ALWAYS REQUIRE A SIGNATURE.
