Condition is as seen – This poster has wear but still shows very well for its age. It has been attached sometime during its life to the board as seen, the board seems to be something along the lines of masonite. The backside is signed. The name is a little hard to make out. Looks like “Chusteri Bergy”, which may well be her stage name. Antique 1890s Hand Painted Wood Carousel Carnival Circus Horse Folk Art

Antique 1880s – 1910s Victorian Era WOOD Hand Painted Circus Carousel Carnival Horse. This piece stands 52″ tall is 48″ long and 12 wide and weights approx 200+lbs. I believe to be something that drew people in to the carousel ride or side show attractions could even have been used as just a focal piece displayed at the entrance or center of the circus / carnival. The piece features glass eyes, a real horse hair tail, a 100% hand made painted and carved solid wood body, which was coated in a thin layer of a plaster type substance then completely hand painted. Condition is as seen there is cracking to the wood body due to age, no issues with it being fragile the cracking is just on the exterior, this piece is very solid and structurally sound.
