Light brown with black and white images of clown tightrope walkers–at least this is my best interpretation of these images! Fabric covered button-up front. Snaps at waist and top of bodice. Fabric covered matching belt. Fabric looks like raw silk. Very good condition overall with the exception of two small spots on skirt as pictured–with the irregularities inherent in the fabric design, IMO, they are not particularly noticeable when the dress is worn unless upon close inspection. Stunning circus ringmaster jacket dress and hat for antique doll

Here is a stunning and unusual couturier handmade and hand sewn dress. Jacket and hat in the style of a circus ringmaster or should I say mistress? . Made from antique and vintage fabrics and trims. The jacket is in rich red velvet decorated with gold metal braid and fully lined in red cotton. The back of the jacket has turned back tails in white silk and the back of the jacket is decorated with gold braid motif and tassels The dress is cotton with a circus big top pattern covered in deep cotton lace and is fully lined with cotton including a cotton underskirt. The hat is one of my handmade top hats in black panne velvet. This outfit is something special and unusual and will make you doll look stunning. Fits my 19 Jumeau which has a15 body. Across the shoulders 5. Sleeve length 5 1/2 incl lace. Length shoulder to hem 13. I go to great lengths to be accurate with my description so as to avoid that problem for us both.
