DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this Very Rare antique 1930s Art Deco large circus poster, banner, oil on canvas painting depicting a Bengal tiger in its surroundings. Comes from the estate of an Austrian diplomat who held appointments in France and Italy during the 1920s and 1930s. Typical Art Deco stylization of the tiger and the background. Resembles the style of O’Henry Tent & Awning Co. There are signs of age with some paint flaking but it doesn’t seriously affect its overall impressive looks.
