This is a race horse that I believe is from an H C Evans table horse race game. The game was large table top size with 4 or 5 circular lanes each with a colorful carved and painted horse. I have only ever seen one complete game but have seen several of these horses. This one is in average condition with of course paint wear but the number 2 and King are very readable. These games were popular from the late 1800’s to the 1930’s. This particular carving is different from some others I have seen, it is sort of boxy. I think this could be an earlier version. The piece is completely intact. The horse is 16″ long and stands 12″ high on the display stand we created.
