Wee Willie Winkie was introduced by Vogue in 1943. The 8 all-composition Toddles doll has a brown mohair wig and blue painted eyes. He is marked VOGUE on the back of his neck and on his back. The all original outfit includes white stocking cap, flannel pajamas with a hard to find circus print, and blue oilcloth slippers with pompons. The pajama top is tagged with a Vogue ink spot label. The doll is in very good condition from a smoke-free home. There is a little bit of paint missing from the mouth, but the eye paint is completely intact. There is paint wear on the back of the neck where the head has rubbed it and on a small area on the right thigh. There is on small crack on the back of the upper right thigh. He has been freshly restrung and there are no unpleasant odors. The outfit is in excellent, undamaged condition. The candlestick/holder is missing.
