Identified 1930 Sells Flot Circus. / Zack Terrell / Manager & Fred Ledgett / Equestrian Director in the sky. Newark NJ / Aug 27 and signed Century in negative (Flashlight photographers stamp reverse). Large folio photograph measures 12 x 20. Has seen real use with edge tears, tack holes, tear along bottom edge (does not affect subject) repaired with old tape and loss to one corner. Please see photos and ask questions. This poster is an original stone lithograph created in the 1930’s as a generic image to be used by circus troupes to announce their upcoming appearances in local areas. The bottom of the poster would either be printed or hand written with the information as to where and when the troupe would be appearing. It measures 21″ x 31″ and. It has been archivally mounted onto linen to preserve and protect the fragile paper of the poster. We have been collecting original, vintage posters for 30 years, and have decided to sell some of our inventory at very attractive prices.
