ANTIQUE HAND-PAINTED CIRCUS / CARNIVAL CANVAS BANNER OF 2 TIGERS SIGNED FOLK ART Circa 1930s Rare antique circus, carnival, sideshow or freak show hand-painted oil on canvas of two tigers, circa 1930s. The banner is signed on the bottom and has been mounted to a wood board for preservation. In very good condition, save for some tearing on the side of the canvas. Antique German 1890 Circus Zoo Wagon Pip Squeak Toy Lions Tigers
GERMAN WOODEN ZOO/CIRCUS WAGON TOY WITH COMPOSITION / 3 PAPIER MACHE ANIMAL FIGURES, one door on the side with an action function when opened attached to squeaker, and another door on the side with wooden locksand tiny brass hinges. Three animals featuring 2 lions and one orange tiger made of papier-mâché. Late 19th/early 20th century. Cage 9″ Long , 4 1/2″ D, 5H tall including wheels. Early circus wagon squeek toy. Paper mache lions and tiger. Squeek mechanism no longer works but the paper bellow is still there. Original wheels and paint. It’s in great shape for its age. It has the toy makers stamp underneath: Germany. Cage with surface wear, scratches, and some scattered losses, action function in working condition but squeaker has rips and does not make noise; animals with wear and other imperfections including paint flakes, discoloration, small to moderate chips.
