This item is Not Gold Plated. It is Antique or Vintage Gold Filled. Please read explanation below. This is a 10k Rose and White Gold Filled Circus Bracelet. Caged Bear, Elephant, Lion, Camel and Monkey inside the links that can move around. I have never seen one like it. It is marked 10k gf and Amico. Sourced from a USA Estate Sale c1930s. The bracelet is 19cms or 7.5 inches long and is 1.7cms wide and weighs 22.7. Please note that vintage rose gold colour is a lot more subtle than today’s highly copper infused pink gold found at the local mall jewellery store. If this is the colour that you prefer then this item is probably not for you. The bracelet is in good vintage condition with age appropriate metal wear to some high points and edges which would be hard to see when being worn on the wrist. The bracelet has therefore been priced accordingly. Has not been cleaned. All measurements and weights are approximate only. What is Vintage or Antique Gold Filled Jewellery? Vintage Gold fill is an actual layer of gold which has been pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating. Vintage Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors. Anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of an allergic reaction. Vintage Gold filled jewellery is made from solid gold and filled with other alloys such as brass, bronze and sterling silver. Think of it like a sandwich with solid gold on the outside and a metal filling. Vintage Gold filled wears, looks and lasts like solid gold because its outer surface IS solid gold. Vintage and Antique gold filled items were regulated by the US government and the gold content must be at least 1/20 of the weight of the item. Unfortunately the term gold filled has been hijacked and become generic and is being misused for cheap gold plate jewellery from Asia. Gold plate has no regulations. Vintage Gold Fill does not. Wear off like gold plate. Vintage Gold filled jewellery even offers more than solid gold such as strength and durability because of the inner metal core as solid gold is a soft metal and tends to dent and bend. Please also be aware that Victorian gold filled pieces are generally unmarked for gold content and hallmarking in the USA did not generally happen until after 1907. Even then the maker could choose to mark the jewellery or the box that it came in so that many pieces are not hallmarked with their gold content. Antique and Vintage gold filled jewellery is normally 10k, 12k, or 14k in gold content. Beware of the newer cheap imitations being marketed as gold filled which are in fact imported from Asia. They are not vintage or antique. They are not gold filled. They are cheap gold plate imitations. The term “gold filled” is being misused by unscrupulous sellers. This 1990s Jim Rose Circus Tee shirt is in very good vintage condition. It is 100% structurally sound showing little signs of washing or wearing. It is used but not abused. There are a couple very light stains – see pictures. I have not laundered this item. Front left chest image features midget Mexican Wrestler masks with female sumo wrestlers. Back of shirt reads. The eyes were cold and harsh, making them tough to chew. 1122 East Pike St. #720, Seattle, WA 98122. Two white bands across the back feature signatures from the live tour freak show including Bebe the Circus Queen. Other signatures are present but faded. See pictures for details. This shirt may have been from the 1998 tour that was banned in New Zealand and jailed the troupe in Lubbock Texas. The Jim Rose Circus is a modern-day version of a circus sideshow. [1][2] It was founded in Seattle in 1991 by Jim Rose, the Amazing Mister Lifto, the Torture King, Matt the Tube Crowley and Slug the Sword Swallower who later became the Enigma. The sideshow came to prominence to an American audience as a second stage show at the 1992 Lollapalooza festival, then called the “Jim Rose Circus Sideshow”, although they had toured the Northwest and Canada and had several US TV appearances before this time. Rolling Stone magazine called the show an “absolute must-see act” and USA Today termed Rose’s troupe “Lollapalooza’s word-of-mouth hit attraction”. Original antique vintage tattoo flash 1900 wh wilson red rose love circus 4×7. Size is 4×7 inches and on thick arches paper. Design is a mix of graphite, ink and paint in good condition with stains, foxing. The flash sheet and associated items came from a large cache of paper tattoo items from a relatively unknown tattooist, WH Wilson, of Pennsylvania. The last 2 photos show some other designs that were in the same collection, including a signed WHW shield design. The other designs in that last photo are not included in the sale but to provide historical context. See photos as they are part of the description..
