Creator: Russel Wright (Designer). Height: 5.5 in. Width: 6.25 in. Style: Mid-Century Modern (Of the Period). Materials and Techniques: CastMetal, PlatedNickel. Place of Origin: United States. Date of Manufacture: 1930s. Condition: Good, some minor scratches to surface, no chips or cracks. A small daub of glue? To outside, probably removable. Yes that is correct, I only have the one. Who knows what happened to the other one? Maybe got divided up in the divorce? Anyway this is a fantastic bookend. I see it as a piece of sculpture, though, because there is only one. Use your imagination, he’s fantastic. He’s in good condition; there is some scuffing to part of the exterior and what appears to be almost a slight ding. I will show youin the pictures and you can make your own assessments. There is also A daub of what appears to be glue near his mane. I will Show you that as well. The scratches could probably be buffed out, but he’s so cool, they won’t be noticeable. Anyway thank you for looking and I’m hoping that you all enjoy looking at him as much as I have.
