Early 8 Schoenhut Wooden Circus Clown Cracker Jack Humpty Dumpty circa 1903. Cracker Jack the Clever Clown. Humpty and Dumpty Circus. With original clothing, including original hat. He has a split face and his ears are intact. Wear and marks commensurate with age and use. Some crazing to his painted face, with tear and repair to the clothing. A rare delightful character. Jointed wooden Tiger manufactured in the 1900s by the Schoenhut Piano Company as part of the “Humpty Dumpty Circus” collection. Sideshow banner original And antique! Snap Wyatt! Circa 1940s! Zoma Depraved

This is an AMAZING antique carnival sideshow banner for “Zoma”, a wild woman freak show attraction from the 1940s or’50s. It is unsigned, but was almost certainly painted by famed sideshow and carnival banner artist Snap Wyatt. This banner appears in the 1990s book “Freaks, geeks, & Wild Girls” – one of the early publications about this art form. The banner looks great in person, and is still bright and colorful. There are areas of wear with minor color loss from years of folding and carnival wear, and a few small holes, but this piece is still solid and stunning. It is roughly 8 feet tall X 11 feet long, so it’s the perfect size to display on a large wall. Each corner has a heavy duty steel ring which was used for mounting on the midway. This is an opportunity for any high end carnival, sideshow, oddity, or folk art collector! Please see my other listings!

Antique Military Style 23 BANDSMAN CIRCA 1925 TEDDY BEAR

Found in bags full of newer STEIFF and other bears, I do believe it’s the oldest bear I’ve ever had. From European origin, Maker unknown, This bear is approx. 23 in height and that includes the hat, he is unjointed, has a golden color mohair head, softer torso, legs are stuffed and a harder fabric, flat on the bottom to stand easier, he is missing an eye, I checked the other and it has a metal shank on the back. His suit is a grey felt fabric with gold cording trim and gold caplets. There is some damage to the underarm of one arm noticeable from the back where it’s split open in the seam. Why a great item to add to your collection, despite the fact I don’t know who actually made this bear, to be able to find some similar published history is exciting. 100 years old and still bringing joy!

Fair exposition circus prize. Detailed item, stitched teeth, tongue, all genitalia, straw stuffed areas & hand stitched details noted. Unique antique eyes trimmed in leather & stitching, as well as leather padded feet & nose. Wear noted to leather foot pads with large cracking to each and some stitched areas as shown. Threaded areas are falling apart in male genitalia region as shown and will require restoration repair. Overall in very good condition otherwise. Large heavy item weighting 17lbs and measuring approx 50 x 13 x 30. Lions head alone is approx 18 x 12 x 11. Just massive and beautiful. Extremely rare item & a spectacular piece of history!
