Antique wooden Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty hippo, dated about 1905. Rare wooden hippo with green glass eyes, with both teeth, with both ears and tail. This early hippo is for a Humpty Dumpty Circus or for a Teddy Roosevelt zoo. The hippo is heavy, I call her “my sweet heavy Wilma”. Height of the hippo approx 4.5″, length of the hippo approx 8.6″. The antique Humpty Dumpty hippo is in good condition for age with minor age wear (with colour loss as shown on the photos, the photos are part of my desription), I can’t see any damages or broken parts. The stringing is good, our hippo can stand without problems. The hippo is complete (both teeth, both ears, original glass eyes and tail). Collector’s item Not suitable for children under 14 years!
