He joined with his daughter, Mable, and her new husband, William Campbell, to form The New Orleans Minstrels. Hall gave a lengthy interview about the show to the Evansville Review in November 1915. When the show opened in Evansville in April 1916, the name of the show had been changed to “Campbell’s New Orleans Minstrel Show”.
