Unpaid item cases open after 2 days. Item relisted after 6 days. Very nice, used ANTIQUE condition. Comes with what is pictured only but still displays great. Sharpie not included used for size comparison. Check out my other items! Measures about 8″ x 4″ at the widest. About 1 inch thick. Very unique and adds to any collection. From an adult collector. I believe the triangle hat represents an Asian soldier possibly Viet Nam but I think it’s older from the condition of the target. Could be a Chinese or Japanese soldier as well. It seems too primitive to be modern. I have several of each target so check my other listings. Kept clean and stored in a cool dark place. Kept in storage for years. PRODUCT IN PICTURE IS ACTUAL PRODUCT. Please pay close attention to images. If you have any questions feel free to ask. From a smoke and pet free home. Check out my store. New items added every week! Photo measures 97 mm x 66 mm. Zhan was born in Fuzhou, China in the 1840s, though reports of the year vary from 1841 to 1847. His height was claimed to be over 8 feet (2.44 m), but there are no authoritative records. He left China in 1865 to travel to London where he appeared on stage, later travelling around Europe, and to the U. And Australia as “Chang the Chinese Giant”. Zhan received a good education in various countries, and developed a good understanding of ten languages. Kin Foo, the Chinese wife who accompanied Zhan from China, died in 1871, and Zhan later married Catherine Santley, whom he met in Sydney, Australia. They had two children: Edwin, born in 1877 in Shanghai, and Ernest, born in 1879 in Paris. Zhan died in Bournemouth in 1893, four months after his wife, aged around 50. His coffin was 8 feet 6 inches (2.6 m) long. Check out my other listings now for more Chinese antiques! The China head low brow German doll is from the Victorian era (circa 1860s +/-), she is porcelain and in “fair” condition for being over a century old. She’s chippy but not broken. I have not altered her body except to decoupage her chest area, it is unknown what era the cloth body was from. The circus tent or skirt of the doll is 100% new cotton canvas fabric that is reinforced with insulated triple wire. The wires have been hand stitched into the hem. The skirt also has grommets and is cinched with cotton rope and tied in a simple shoe knot. She is not directly attached to the skirt. The black faux velvet belt is attached with adhesive and the keyhole is vintage. Her shawl is an antique soiled doily but it’s intact; stains seen in pictures. Each vintage freak show banner is hand sewn to the tent. Wipe with damp cloth. You can simply shape the skirt into an umbrella shape and push the doll down into the skirt until she stands up straight. She’s going to keep leaning forward or backward until she is pushed down just right. This is HANDMADE, not perfect. I’m not a professional seamstress and some areas are hand stitched and crooked, which shows it’s handmade. She stands approximately 17″ tall and the tent is approximately 10-11″ in diameter. I do not plan on making anymore as it is quite the project. If there are overages on my end, I will eat the costs, no worries.
