This antique Schoenhut elephant is one of many wooden articulated animals that were part of the. The Humpty Dumpty Circus set, manufactured from 1903 until 1935, when the company closed. This elephant is remarkable condition. One of the painted eyes has faded. The leather ears are still intact and connected well , with a very minor tear on each one. The rope tail and the paint appear to be original with no touch ups. His head, legs, feet and trunk are still articulating and can be moved easily. His trunk is missing the extended rubber tip. His wooden tusks are in very good condition. This little guy would make wonderful addition for a Humpty Dumpty Circus collection! Thank you so much for taking the time to view this item.
