Antique Vintage Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty Circus Donkey. This donkey is all intact with painted eyes. He is a brown wooden donkey with red and white painted eyes, nose and mouth. He has black hoofs. He has an attached tail and ears. There is some paint wear as shown. He is all intact and all joints move appropriately. His ears have wear. 9″ long x 6″ tall. All intact and works properly. ORIGINAL ANTIQUE – PIGGY BANK – CAST IRON JUMBO ELEPHANT CIRCUS BANK EXCELLENT ANTIQUE CONDITION – This wonderful child’s cast iron bank belonged to a man I grew up knowing and was kept all his life and given to me. Now it is my turn to pass this amazing elephant piggy bank onto another collector or child. There is a turn screw on one side, used to retrieve the coins when the bank needed to be cashed out. Here is an excellent original toy bank for your collection. The bank would look great in a child’s bedroom, displayed in a collection of other antique banks or in someones circus collection. As noted above, this was a personal toy bank of a friend of mine and was used throughout his childhood, therefore, it is NOT NEW IN BOX or a reproduction. The bank has surface wear consistent with its age, but not extensive. The bank turn screw I assume is still fully operational.
