Rare Antique Vintage Marblesque Lux Circus Elephant Figural Shelf Mantle Clock
Circa 1928 synthetic marble circus elephant figural shelf or mantle clock by Lux. Measure 6 1/2″ by 71/2″. Condition is good and as found from estate. You can set the time and wind it. It will run and then stop right away. The fast and slow lever is not there. Paint loss mostly to the top as seen in photos. A chip on the corner at the base as seen in pictures. Antique Leather Autotherm Picnic bag Drew & Sons Piccadilly Circus London 1910s. Oh wow this is so cool. Original bag made by Drew and sons of Piccadilly circus. Apparently this was kind of a picnic basket of its day. But this was no ordinary picnic basket. Very high-end in its Day. Made of all leather as cars were very expensive. Shows typical wear on the inside and out how much is a leather strap is now gone. Would be a fairly easy replacement if you so choose. These canisters were inside. The rectangular one I think is missing its front clasp, see my finger tip. The round one is quite nice with autotherm stamped on top in a neat locking mechanism. Front latch it works as it should. If you like old cars or classic leather goods this is the one. And also had a movie camera in it. If I still have it look under the word Pathe. Would be nice to keep them together. Nice to imagine a day out with camera and food in 1910. Bag is 13 by 9 x 7 in. Pair of Antique Metal Carousel Dragon Sea Serpents Circus Carnival 1920’s
For sale is a pair of cast aluminum dragons that were trim used on carousels and carousel chariots. I was told that these were made by C. Parker Carousel Company around the 1920’s, but I have no way to verify that. I have had them over 30 years myself. They do not appear to have ever been used. Each measures approximately 14 inches long by 7 inches wide at the widest point. Please ask questions prior to purchasing.
