Rare Deco Russel Wright Libbiloo Bookend. Very RARE Russel Wright Modernist Libbiloo Circus Horse Bookend. These was from a series of Circus Animals in various whimsical shapes designed In 1927. Made of Heavy Nickel Plated Cast Metal. Condition: My Libbiloo has looks good for his/her age. Much nicer than many I have seen thru out the years. Good condition with some surface scratches, minor plate loss, a few pock marks/holes but no structural issues. There is what appears to be a small dent on the head area see last photo for this and small piece of pot metal rattles in the inside. 6W × 3.25D × 5.25H. The Guggenheim Museum does sell a replica of Libbiloo which is identified. By it’s flat hooves, and matte grey finish.
